Julie Fehrenbach-Cain Hi Vito,
I'm happy to respond to you here.
My AVR was done by the wonderful J. Michael Smith at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. His office is near Bethesda North in Montgomery.
I was fortunate that he was able to use a minimally invasive procedure, so I didn't have my chest cut open. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Smith and his staff -- they are fantastic! Dr. Smith put everything in terms that I could understand and took the time to answer my long list of questions. I never felt rushed and he gave me his undivided attention when he was in the room. I highly recommend him.
