Kevin Lee @ Adam Pick, Thank you for the kind thoughts. Good news is I am enjoying walks around the nurses station now. LOL. Needless to say, I was quite surprised to find out how bad the infection was. Cardiologist said I am very lucky that it didn't spread any further. I am also surprised how quick it was for me to get used to the ticking of both valves. Thank you for reaching out and your support. I am grateful to have read your book back in 2017 and the creation of this support group helps people all over the world. The knowledge you share has helped the anxiety my family had then and now.

Kevin Lee Ray, I am sorry for the delay in response. I went with On-X mechanical valve. I am 32 years old and so I wanted something that was going to last. The biological valves are great if you do not want to take warfarin, but do not have the lifespan of the mechanical ones. As far as how I am doing. I am doing great. I am back working two jobs and as long as I take my medicine like I have to, I will be okay. I hope that helps you out. Good luck, I know this is not an easy decision.
