Words fail me. I’m so sorry for the loss of your precious son. There is absolutely nothing I can think of that could come close to the pain of losing a child. Hi Lawrence, your story broke my heart. I am so sorry about your boy. When we are stressed and under pressure, we do not always see things clearly to make the "right decision". At the time when everything was going on and you were under so much pressure, you did what you thought was the right thing to do. Please do not blame yourself. Everything in hindsight seems so clear....You listened to the cardiologist and to the surgeon because you trusted them. Every doctor has a different opinion. I wish you and yours the strength to keep going and thank you for sharing and for your sound advice. Yes, get another opinion even if you have to go elsewhere.

So you know, Dr. Bolling is a mitral valve repair specialist and may be a great guy to talk with regarding your son's condition.
