Jo reggelt kivanok, Laszlo! (Well, it's still morning here anyway, in Centralia, Washington USA). I just came across your story. I'm on here too, I had mitral valve repair and aortic valve replacement in August 2015. Though your situation sounds different from mine, I wanted to offer every encouragement and support to a fellow Magyar (actually, I'd offer it to non-Magyars too, lol). My maternal grandparents were from Hungary, and I've been to your country three times, 1987; 1988; and 1994. I'm very familiar with the standard Hungarian diet and, no offense, it's NOT heart-healthy. (Neither is the American one.) Leslie Bakos Hi Mary...you are amazing. I am not doing to well....I think I am not going to make it....I am so happy you did your hernia surgery....I think I will too....if god willing.....I hope my weight loss is because of meds or my body adjusting for my messed up heart. Just a year ago I was looking forward to the future...I can say my decline really began one year ago as I see it...I have some tough decisions to make whether to do nothing or to fight like Rocky....I think I have a very short time here. Thanks Hodgekins Disease!!!! But I guess I got 30 extra years from the treatment....I went to the gym today for the first time since July...as my water heater and heater and bathtub are all broken....It felt good lifting some light weights....but I am tired as hell,,,,now....can I call you tomorrow...I need some support.....I need to find a good nickname for you as you gone through a hell of a lot.

Lol. I guess when you look at it that way, you have to count every day as a blessing. It's good to hear you are back at the gym, at least trying. Give me a call. I worked almost 10 hour days the last few, but I am off tomorrow. Hoping to be lazy.
