Lewis Garlisi Hi Meredith. Good to see another Morton Plant alumni. There seem to be a few of us on this site. Don't worry about missing my operation date. I'm not even sure that I made it on the "watch list". But I did rely on your posts for some support to back up my decision to have surgery done at Morton Plant - so thank you. Looks like you are doing very well post surgery. Good to see another success story, particularly from someone from the same hospital and surgical group.

Hey Lewis. I'd prefer a first round knock out. My little brother "from another mother" (Mike Grable) went a full eight rounder with Oscar De La Hoya and said it seemed like fifteen. Believe me when I say, I'd duck this fight in a second if I could !!

Great post on my journal !! I laughed pretty hard. I was at the fights this past Saturday with Mike Grable (first pro to take Oscar De La Hoya the distance) and we were talking about that very subject. We were discussing how I could bring the lessons learned in the ring to apply in this situation. It's amazing how similar the processes are emotionally and mentally. "Visualize...............then run like hell".

Lewis Garlisi Thanks Duane. I try to find humor where I can on this site. Your journal seems to be a good source (as an OSU grad, I even found the Buckeye comment to be pretty hilarious). Interesting analogy with the boxing ring. Could be very helpful during recovery phase too.
