Civita Fahey  Hi Linda Welcome to the site.. I have two things in common with John I also had a bicuspid valve and my parents also speak only Italian at home and my dad still makes his own wine but here in Mass.. this is a scary journey for both the patient and their loved ones but take if from one who has gone through it and after all I have the Italian anxiety genes ( lol) and was scared to death, its totally doable and he will do great.. the waiting is the worst the part.. I am 56 a couple of years old than John and I feel great.. its been 8 months and I do everything that I did before.. if John would like to speak to someone who has gone through this I would be happy to talk to you or him to alleviate any anxiety.. my email is formia0711@gmail let me know I will send you my cell #.. Civita Fahey  BTW this site and Adam's book has been Godsend to me and truly helped me get through this journey.. the people on here are wonderful and caring and always willing to help..I feel I have made friends for life even if I have never met then.
