Hi Lyle. Your story is pretty scary,.. - how this escalated so quickly after so many years of being, apparently, no big deal. You were smart to do your own stewing and to decide to go in sooner rather than later to get this addressed. On the heart rate (HR) issue, I was walking one of my dogs this past Sunday and feeling just fine and just happened to check my HR on my Fitbit and was shocked to see it was at 184. My surgery has been set for next week June 8th. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow and following your lead. I'll be with you in spirit tomorrow, holding your hand.

Hello Lyle, I just had my Aortic Valve Replaced with a On-X Mechanical Valve 10 weeks ago. I feel pretty great as far as my healing and my Valve and chest goes. I do have Heart Failure though so my situation is a bit different than most people...Thank God. I am pleased with my Valve and feel much much better than before having surgery! It is frightening to think of all the what ifs. The pain is NOwhere near the level I thought it would be. You will do fine and it will be over before you know it. God Bless You My Friend.
