Paul Vitale  Thank you Adam, and YES, Dr. Gillinov did my surgery on 7/16/14. It was a difficult time, but outcome was good. I just went back on 12/9 for a check up and my Mitral Valve is down to a trivial leak from a 4+. So the repair was successful. I only pray that I do not have to go through that again. Last week, I just finished my last visit in Cardiac Rehab. That went well also. The only negative outcomes that I have include a continued battle in figuring out the right bp medication, a potentially elevated Right Diaphragm and my pulse also is pretty high now unless I stay on atenolol. But all of that pales in comparison to my previous problems. Thank you for this website, it has provided me with some good education and reassurance. I need that! Paul V.
