Hi Randy ,
I ‘m really sorry to hear that you ‘re having a problem with your valve , you must be very worried .
I have a st. Jude's mechanical heart valve and take daily warfarin .
I can hear the mitral valve all the time .
On the up side , the valve is keeping me alive and the warfarin stops a clot forming on the valve , so I can ‘t grumble about them too much.

Randy, Positive thoughts and prayers are with you as you undergo HVS Tuesday 11/18. The hardest part is the anticipation, but remember that you are in very good hands and the docs know exactly what to do (I underwent MV surgery about one week ago).
