Hello Trina, So glad that you are healing well. I had my mitral valve replaced on July 29th 2014. I am doing wonderful! Glad you are sleeping better. I had trouble sleeping for a while. Eventually got back to my sleep pattern. Are you going to do cardiac rehab? I would highly suggest it. Cardiac rehab gave me the confidence to return to my exercise program, work and my daily activities. I did use Vitamin E on my scar. It seemed to help. My procedure was done minimal invasive, so my scar was under my right breast. Wshing you continued healing. Remember to not over do it. Your body will tell you when you do. Hi Trina- I didn't see your name on the upcoming surgery list in July and was wondering if you had your surgery. We're in the Washington DC area too and have been referred to Dr. Speir. Hope this is finding you well.
