Looking good Whitney, See, you were alot tougher than you thought !!!! All our prayers helped too ! Did you end up with a repair or the pig valve? For some reason I dont' see my posts on here so not sure you're getting my notes.

Praying for you for a successful surgery and speedy recovery! I had my OHS almost 6 weeks ago and I am really feeling great! I look forward to reading your posts after surgery!!

Whitney, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Be strong. I feel your pain I promise. My anxiety is through the roof too and I'm looking at doing this in a couple of months. You'll do well-just stay tough.

Good luck with your surgery Whitney. i get migraines too and was told they tend to clear up after cardiac surgery. who knew! wishing you the best for the surgery and a good recovery.

I vividly remember waking up and feeling horribly thirsty, like a desert I would imagine, I kept pressing the nurse call button but noone appeared, though I could hear a discussion outside my room, possibly a reprimand to the nurse, a person came into room with machine and I begged the kind foreign person to get me water, whatever, finally the bossy nurse said why didn't you ring the call button, I told her I had many times with no response, oh, she said maybe its not working other than that I was not in pain, excellent care and service, and fortunately the tubing from mouth had been removed while I was still under, that was my major request to the surgical check in team pre surgery since I had read comments on it. I was amazed and still am after two years that the surgery was so flawless, I guess my dear friends prayers had much to guide and aide me with this, I am in my seventies and postponed having the AVR for several years, good luck, you will do fine
