winston may To all my heart valve friends....Monday (07-22-19) I had minimally invasive aortic valve replacement surgery (thoracotomy) with a Perceval sutureless valve inserted. My surgeon, Dr. Basel Ramlawi said the procedure was "test book" quality. I call hime "the man with the magic hands" . Friday I left the hospital and have been slowly walking and doing breathing exercises to build up my lung capacity. I am grateful for this site and all the neat people who prepare for surgery. Good luck to all of us who are recovering and to those waiting for their procedure!!!
