Hi Russ, I had TAVR on October 17, 2017. I was in and out of the hospital within 36 hours. The whole time I only required two Tylenol. My procedure was also done with conscious sedation. It has been a month and I am back to doing everything I did before surgery and more. It is truly an amazing procedure. If I can answer any questions for you just let me know.
Leslie Bakos You look good! I hope one day I can work again!!! nice chair by the way)

Russ Breidinger Thank you for the note Karen. My procedure has already been done. I was in OR for less than 45 minutes. Dr Hermiller said it was one of the smoothest one he had done. The took blood, ran an EKG and Echogram during the night. Then they discharged me the first thing in the morning. In case you haven't found out yet, they now have the ability to put another valve inside the one just installed, should anything go wrong. Lots of luck on you recovery. I've updated my story should you be interested.
It is the most amazing thing ever. I am glad you did well and are on the road to recovery.
