tim miller HI Ruth, i too am traveling to Cleveland for my aortic valve replacement. I will be there July 12th to do all my pre-op and meet Dr. Roselli. My surgery is set for July 30th. I will be thinking of you and praying for you as well when you have yours done. Also i would have NEVER guessed you are 67!.

Frank DeGrazia Sounds like you have prepared well for the procedure Ruth. Just had the same procedure for the same reason BAV replacement. Went very well, and I am back in the office on Day 13. You seem organized enough to have certain goals in place. Activity goals, plan a trip in 6 weeks. I have , and it has helped me think 'past ' the procedure and onto building momentum to get back to the asymptomatic 'normal' I was at before the valve replacement was mandated.
