About Me (In My Own Words)
I am a 52 year old male and had congenital defects consisting of a bicuspid valve and an aneurysm of my ascending aorta. Both go hand in in hand. I have been watching the condition for some years until I collapsed on a tennis court 2/12/14. I live in FL but I've had a plan for some time to see Allan Stewart at Mount Sinai in NY when the time came to act on my condition and did so on 2/18/14. He is truly an amazing man. Please see my review for more on him. On 2/21/14 he replaced my enlarged aorta at the root and replaced my diseased valve with a horse valve. It has been 3 weeks, I feel great under the circumstances and I feel blessed to have met Allan Stewart.
