I was diagnosed in 4/2020 (age 47) with having a bicuspid aortic valve with severe regurgitation. I currently live in SE Asia, so having the procedure performed during COVID was not advised, and travel to the USA was a no-go also. Upon moving to Sai Gon, I found the top heart surgeon, who performed to ARV using a bio-prosthetic device.
