Diagnosed with Rheumatic Heart Disease n childhood, i was being managed expectantly until the age of 24 when my cardiologist strongly recommended valve replacement because of worsening chest pains and exertion. i cope with everyday life by blacking it all out but in silence the tick refocuses reality and i am glad i can meet all you beautiful people with similar stories and find comfort in knowing i am not alone and can share experiences across seas and continents.
