About Me (In My Own Words)
I was born with a Bicuspid Aortic Valve that was discovered when I was in my early 40’s. I have been going to a cardiologist for annual Ecco. This past March he told me that I was in the moderate to severe stage of stinosis.
In July I went to Cleveland Clinic for second opinion and they agreed. Need surgery within 1 year. I am deciding to get surgery done before I start to have more side effects. Going to Cleveland Clinic again on September 12 for more testing and to hopefully schedule surgery in October.
