First the Earth cooled, then the dinosaurs came. Then I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve. That was 21,185 days ago, as of my last birthday (15 leap days included). Many bicuspid aortic valves patients are between 21,170 and 22, 630 days old (58 to 62 years old) according to my surgeon, Dr. Keith Korver. They just wear out faster than tricuspid valves. Then it's time for a valve job.
