About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed with Bicuspid valve and Severe Aortic Regurgitation last year when I was about to retire from the military. Surgery expected soon, but no date yet. Being only 51 and no symptoms it's been a little hard to believe, but now I'm ready to get this done.
Type of valve was a tough decision and have selected a biological SAVR followed by TAVR when the time comes.
