About Me (In My Own Words)
Was diagnosed with BAC in 2016. In early 2022 I noticed that I was having a hard time with working out and catching my breath. I’m 53 and after several episodes finally went back to my cardiologist- who determined that the stenosis was severe. After several more tests and no longer able to work out, we scheduled the date. I am now in recovery and at home from a 9 day stay in hospital due to a pneumothorax. Yes I was using my spirometer 10x’s an hour. I am getting better daily, but I believe this surgery does not come w/out some anxiety. I am keeping my head in the game and following the docs directions. Friends and family have been huge for support.
