It will be 3 weeks tomorrow since my surgery. I came home from the hospital anemic and with oxygen (new conditions for me). Eating lots of spinach and high iron foods. Vivien Appleby Hi Elizabeth. Yesterday I had my six week follow up with the surgeon after having had another echo ( the tenth since this journey began), chest X-ray, and ECG. All is well and he was happy with the results - will see me again in three years. Walking 3 to 6 kilometres a day, driving again - great to be independent. Have been pain free right through which makes recovery so much easier. Was wondering how you are progressing?
