After being at the Mayo Clinic since last Thursday, I finally get to go home today. feel so blessed and grateful for my surgeons, doctors, nurses, family, friends and my special guardian angels to help me get through this. I’m still very sore and tired but so ready to start my recovery. Thanks to this special group who i have relied on for your advice and sharing of your stories. ❤️

I will be having mitral and aortic valve replacement at Mayo on September 7. Looking forward to this being over.

My surgery date has been postponed by one day. One extra day to get things ready and really be prepared.

After waiting for over 5 years, I finally have been given a surgery date . . . May 23, 2018. I thought I was so ready for this but am now getting a little anxious being that it's really going to happen. I'm so thankful for being part of this special group and have been inspired by all of you and have been given hope that I can do this too.

Susan Killian Pryaers for your upcoming surgery. You posted this on the day I had my OHS for mitral valve repair. Here I am 5 weeks later and ready for rehab. So hang in there it is not too bad.
