Update on my valve in valve replacement: My Doctors called around the country to find out who had a valve replacement like mine in 2016 and did they have to replace it with another because it failed.(cow skin). My valve was a Direct Flow which lost its funding so there weren"t that many around.They found two Drs. who have done the surgery and shared the experience.I was the first at this Hospital. JUNE 14th,2022 after many tests ,they proceeded to install the Medtronic plus pig valve in the valve in place using both Femoral arteries to accomplish the TAVR. I was home the next day and i feel like a million bucks. Thank you all who prayed for my outcome. So at 80 years old,double coronary bypass in 2005,Tavr in 2016,stent in 2019 right coronary of the heart and another Tavr,I have an Angel on my shoulder.

After almost six years my Direct Flow Bovine leaflet Aortic Valve by Salus has failed. I thought at the time it was a good pick because i read about another valve that had a 30% failure rate. So to make a long story short, i have been going thru tests as an outpatient and will find out if the Doctors can help me thru another Tavr on June 1st 2022. I turned 80 years old and i am in good health but i don"t know if it would be a Tavr or a Savr if possible. At this time i can"t walk to the car or throw out the garbage without heavy breathing and getting out of breath. I go everywhere in a wheelchair outside of the house.The leaflets are the problem with this valve otherwise it had really worked well. I had read that this company was financed thru China and China dropped out of the program and so it was discontinued. this was in 2016 right after i received it and it was"nt known of a problem at the time until recently.
The article i read said after five or six years the valve was faltering because of the cow made leaflets. When i find out what will happen i let you all know, Frank.
