Good afternoon, I had my double valve replacement surgery 10 years ago and it can feel very lonely sometimes. I'm glad to have found a community.

Lilly Black I hear you, Grace! Although I don't announce my surgeries, but when I do speak about them, people typically open up and they will share information about their health issues as well. So for me, it's an ice breaking moment. Everyone has something to talk about when it comes to their own experiences. The fact that I survived 2 heart surgeries says a lot about courage.... something I didn't think I had.
