I was wondering why there are no cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in the Houston area, particularly the Texas Medical Center and Texas Heart Institute listed in the blog----it only has those in Plano, Baylor Scott and White and one facility in the north Dallas area. I am about to have to undergo either repair or replacement of my porcine mitral valve and I live in the greater Houston area and my cardiologists are with Baylor College of Medicine at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. Please provide any list or insight into cardiologist teams in the Houston area. My situation is gettng worse by the day. Fatigue, shortness of breath and a mitral ejection fraction of 37 percent. Where should I start? I have a right and left angiogram appointment at the cath lab at ChiSt.Lukes Hospital on the 26th of this month. Help
