James Breland Well this is the first time I have looked at my phone since my surgery on Wednesday. Surgery was a success. Dr. Parrino was able to repair my mitral valve instead of replace and I am very thankful for that. I was discharged yesterday afternoon. Everything is going good just being uncomfortable is my biggest complaint and I tire very easily, but with walking each day gets better. Thankful for my Dr. and his staff at Ochsners in New Orleans and everyone on this site for the kind and encouraging words as I prepared for surgery.! Wil keep you updated.
