Well September 2nd 2017 I celebrated a year since my surgery. My daughter bought a cake saying 'Happy heart day!' It was great fun. Now its almost another year and its flown by. Every single day I get up and Thank God and everyone involved in my care from that time. It changes you for sure but for me its improved me. I smile more, I desire to be happy more and the little things in life dont bug me quite as much. Its a joy only those who have endured heart surgery can fully understand. Wishing everyone well, to those healing, to those waiting and to those living large with the start of the journey as part of your history God Bless x
