Going to my Cardiologist on monday. Hoping that he has some good news for me. I was told that i might not be a candidte for heart transplant. And the other route is a kono procedure which is a long surgery and dificult. I dont know what to do! This will be my 3rd surgery.

Catie B Lorraine, find the tiny black arrow up top, just to the left of the Like button. Click that arrow. Then select My Control Panel. From there, select Profile Settings. Then at the top of the list that comes up, you should see My Profile Picture. Click Change to the right of that. Hope this helps!

Hi im lorraine, i love the site!! I need to know im not the only one that had surgery. I had a mitral vavle replacement that almost took my life! My lungs were compromised therefore i was put on a ventilator for 1 month to be exact. After recovery i felt at my best. Wow!! I can breath! I can walk up hills and swim a little, isnt that great? My quality of life has improve until 8 months later i caught pneumonia in addition to that, the flu. I realized after recovering from that i was never the same. I started going down hill again. "What a bummer"😔 at this moment im in the hospital and was told that i have a aortic membrane that laying underneath my aortic vavle and the vavle is leaky therefore i need another open heart. Im scared and confused right now so im thinking of holding off right now. Please someone give me some advice.😢
