10 Years strong for me. Had my aortic valve replace 11/1/2012. I've never felt better. Thank you Dr. Marc Gerdisch and the team at Franciscan Health for all your great care and follow-up over the years.

Wow it's hard to believe it been a little over 5 years ago that I had my aortic valve replaced. I cannot express how wonderful my life is. I feel so good. I am in better health. I just can't thank Dr. Anthony Bashall ,Dr. Marc Gerdisch for all of the staff at Franciscan Hospital for all of their wonder care. Still today I see Dr. Bashall and he is like family. I was and am truly blessed to have such great doctors.

Well it has almost been a 1 1/2 years since my heart surgery. And I just wanted to let everyone know that I feel great. I cannot express how much better and active I have been since my heart surgery. I now work out 3 times a week. I am evening riding a bike 5 miles 3 days a week and looking forward to being able to ride outdoors this summer. I also want everyone to know that cardiac rehab is so important to your recovery. I know sometimes it;s hard to get going but you will feel so much better if you just continue to push yourself. I wanted to say thank you to my cardiologist Anthony Bashell for watching over me, Dr. Marc Gerdish for being such a wonderful surgeon and Mended Hearts Chapter 78 at St. Francis Hospital Indianapolis for the support and allowing me to be a part of your organization.
