Sophie is so cute! Post as many pictures as you want, April! My 15 year old Lab who my wife jokingly referred to "as the daughter I never had" was simply a blessing. Ginger went to heaven 5 years ago and I dearly miss her. So keep posting and thanks for rekindling some fond memories!

April Curington Awe thanks, I've been searching for a puppy for a while now and with my current health situation I felt now was the perfect time for the perfect companion. I originally named her Bambi but then changed it to Sophie but my kids and family really like Bambi so I changed it back. She is a show stopper, and already spoiled by me. I believe she will hep me with my recovery. My kids are grown and out on their own and this is like being a new mom all over again. Bambi is 1.6lbs of deliciousness!

Hi, April God Bless and many blessings to you, your family and surgeon. Be satisfied in your own mind that you have done as much research as possible, but not to the point of making yourself too anxious. I'm retired, so I had plenty of time to research a huge amount of data for my MVR repair which occurred on 04 April. Had the data, but definitely information overload. Definitely became anxious because of an extended surgical date. You are wise in scheduling your surgical date as soon as possible, not only from a medical stand point but from a mental one as well. Believe me I know. Rest assured, you're going to be fine! I will keep you in my prayers.
