Am Ghai Chol Reu from South Sudan but staying in Uganda currently.

I may tell you don't be scare I went the same surgery you are about to go through but i was given AV replacement Mechanical because tissue valve can be remove after 10 years.

And now am having only six months in my operation but am just like someone who have never been diagnosed with Operated valve

So now the choice is yours, Mechanical valve which is permanent can not be removed unless is block or Tissue valve which can be removed after 10 years

But I can advise you to go for mechanical valve if you will be enable to take medicines for the rest of your life. Like me am taking medicines for the rest of my life is just like someone who always drink soda
