CHALAH DiCESARE Hi, Anthony Kozleuchar! I'm doing great! Thank you! I went back to work this last Monday. I still get dizzy and extremely tired - but, I know it will get better. I have to see a orthopedic doctor again for my shoulders because I have bursitis & impingement syndrome & the surgery aggravated it & I've been in a lot of pain from that. But, my heart is good. Thank you for asking. How have you been?

Anthony Kozleuchar I'm good, thanks...really hard to start to get back to where i was before surgery though:)) I started running 4 weeks after and it was terrible haha....overall feel good...still not easy to look at the scar on my chest~

Challah,you will do just fine . It is scary but don’t give in to the fear, trust that many others have gone through ,this and survived. I have had 2 open heart procedures with2 aortic valves-I actually wore the first one out after 12 years ! Concentrate on each hour knowing that you are getting better hour by hour. It’s takes a brave individual to undergo this surgery and you will soon be able to tell others of your brave experience and help them out - God Bless and good luck

Challah, I know is a roller coaster of emotions, but as you said in you post,we hear about so many warriors on this site have gone through it before us and they are doing well or getting there. Fear doesn’t help any of us and if we trust that God’s plans are perfect, whatever happens it will be ok. Hang in there, talk about it with as many people as you can and inform yourself with the procedure. Adam, the creator of this site always encourages us to read as much as we can about our procedure so we can feel more confident. My surgery is also in November and being encouraged by family, friends and my Churches brothers and sisters and our heart warriors on this site. Stay faithful and I will keep you in my prayers as I keep all of us. Blessings

CHALAH DiCESARE Thank you both!! I also pray for everyone who needs heart surgery (or any surgery really) it's overwhelming to think about and go thru. My husband has been great, and our daughter is coming home and I'm extremely thankful for them both. I'm thankful for my in laws too, they've been praying and very helpful too - I don't have any biological family here - but they're still praying - so, thankful for that too. :) I have other issues that cause me weakness and dizziness - so, I'm used to it, but, the dizziness & weakness I've been experiencing now is very extreme.
