Hi El , Welcome to recovery . Have you checked the side affects of any medication ? Some painkillers can can eventually cause headaches . When did you last have your sight checked / Glasses prescription . Is there anything in your diet that could be affecting you and giving you headaches ? Are you drinking enough fluids ? Are you having more or less caffeine ? Have you changed what you are eating ? Is there anything in the home that could be causing headaches ? I hope it improves soon . It is still early days and you are doing really well.

Hi El,
I was diagnosed with stenosis of the Aorta valve with my valve being bicuspid too in February 2023. I finally after educating myself and getting brave enough to have surgery, I finally did it in January 2024. I am 6 months in recovery and doing well. Still getting stronger everyday. I didn't qualify for the TAVR surgery. I will plan to have this when I have to replace my biological valve 7 to 15 years. Good luck. You got this!

Good luck for your upcoming surgery! I guess these days TAVRs are done rather than the donor aortic valve & root replacement I had done 23½yrs ago for a small stenosed bicuspid aortic valve. Thought Id let you know I am still fit and well at 82 years of age and surgery was nothing to be afraid of. Gillian xxx
