Hi George, thanks for your message. Surgery went well. I’ve hit a few bumps along the road in my recovery. I think I tried to do too much too fast. My advice would be to give yourself time to heal before trying to be your normal self again. I’m almost 3 weeks out and my chest feels pretty good! The rest of me has to catch up. Hi George. They recommended bioprosthetic for aortic and mitral valves and a ring for the tricuspid. My case is a little different in that my valve damage is due to radiation therapy I had in 1984. It is a difficult decision. I think multiple opinions are helpful and you will know when find the level of confidence you are looking for.
