Hi Juergen - welcome to the other side. I too just received a 23 mm aortic valve on July 25th. I, likewise, am doing well - according to the cardiac nurses and doctors. I use minimal pain killers. - a few perosec a day and the rest ibuprofen. I lived in Portland before moving to AZ 5 yrs ago it is beautiful up there. Glad to hear you did great!! I was tod, just because you feel so well, still don't push it - let the med team guide you through activity progression. Good luck in your recovery!!

Juergen Li Conrad - glad to bear that you are doing well - and good to hear from somebody that is 3 das ahead of me. So far I am amazed how well everything went - I am really very greatful for the first class medical staff here at OHSU.
