My name is Steve and I'm from San Diego. I'm 65 years old, in relatively good health and just has my aortic valve and ascending aorta replaced. It is about 6 weeks post surgery and I'm recovering well. I'm up to 15K steps per day and just biked 15 miles over flat surface last Saturday. Hang in there!

Hi Ken,

I was diagnosed with Severe Stenosis Aorta Valve March 2023. I am terrified. I finally met with the surgeon and decided to go with the biological valve too but I will have the SAVR procedure.
My surgery is January 9th.

Hi Ken

My name is Mirza Baig, I am from Petaluma. I also has severe aortic stenosis, per echo. I was about to get surgery and ready for TAVR. Kaiser sent me to TAVR specialist at San Francisco Keiser Hospital. They took my CT scan and told me there is no emergency and per CT scan my volve has enough opening and at best I have moderate stenosis.

I have my appointment with my Cardiologist and he order another echo in 5 month. So I will be having my echo in May 2024
