Mike you have been thru so much❤️. Maybe your doctor can recommend you for a rehab program. Walking is the best thing you can do starting out. It helps the body heal. Gradually build your walking time up. Do what you can whether it is 5 minutes or longer several times a day and keep moving forward.🙏❤️
Mike Argentino Hello Grace, Thank you for your kind thoughts and words of wisdom. When I was released from hospital after my stroke, the hospital enrolled me in program of speech and physio therapy where the therapists came to my home. This helped considerably, however I still had the MG to deal with and lack of energy which I attempted to address taking Ensure protein drink blended with banana. Although this gave me enough boost to carry on through the day, my cardio specialists decided to go ahead with the Mitral Valve experience. After the resulting AV Node Ablation I had A new lease and finally felt that we had beat the "Grim Reaper". I have bean taking my Beagle for walks who helps to tow me up hills but unfortunately he likes to make friends with anyone or anything and will try to drag me with him. I had progressed to 3 kilometer walks when I suddenly have had a relapse of the MG which my Neuro believe that we have been a bit ambitious with my mediation reduction program. I have now back-stepped by 2 reductions that should get it under control. Grace I am sorry for the long winded re0sponse. And yes, I can only assume that some one"up there" has been using me as a test case and I tell my friends that I have had a "In Chassis Rebuild"
I thank you for your contact and wish you the best of health and Happiness. ... Read more

Grace Mason So glad to hear things are looking better Mike! Your beagle sounds like he is keeping you moving....and stopping 😄. Your description of the horrific steroids I can relate to, I am just finishing a 3 week dosing of them and I agree- awful side effects. I cannot wait to be off them. Sometimes I tell people I had my engine rebuilt, for Halloween though, I said I have my Frankenstein style heart😄. So, to us🙏 may we both continue forward progress and good recoveries! Enjoy your cruise!! Wishing you well ❤️

Delise Becker Thank you, Mike. So happy that you're going on a cruise! Enjoy it and continue healing. I have been experiencing bouts of A-fib and A-flutter, and have now been to the ER three times within the last eight days. I was cardioverted all three times. I'm praying that the third time is the charm! This last time, the ER doc tried to get my heart rate down (from 136) with IV meds, but they did not work, so he had to do that third cardioversion. He did increase my amiodarone to 2 x day and he added metoprolol. That was on Nov. 3. So far, so good. We'll see how things go this week. I'll be six weeks post-surgery tomorrow, so maybe my heart will finally start settling down and getting back in rhythm. Thanks for asking. Have a wonderful trip!

Mike Argentino Hi Rose thanks for your kind words. When I was in hospital and relating my past history to them my warped sense of humor kicked in and I would say look at my big hands and feet, I am assured to catch anything going. However this did come back on me when I came back to emergency 2 days after release presenting with Covid 19 in a asphyxiating state. I am hoping that when God has finished handing me out these free illnesses he may afford time to bless me
