Hi patricia , i am living with two of my valve replaced and doing my job of Airport Firefighter at an age of 29 years. So everything will went well and after a week of your surgery you will feel a new energy in your body. Almaity god will help you in quick recovery. I can better understand your condition before surgery, all the doubts coming in mind, how it will work etc.etc. I will share my experience , i had valve replacement surgery in august 2015 in New delhi , India and since then i just take blood thinning medicines with some yoga classes , I am living my normal life Playing cricket and volleyball, badminton as i Played before. so don't fear after surgery you will recover very quickly and take rest at your home with your family and enjoy your life.

Hey Patricia, I almost decided on Dr. Lewis. I ended up going to Emory with Dr. Thourani. I had severe aortic stenosis. I am 63. Had my TAVR procedure last Thursday. I am from Florida. Used to live in Bham and other cities in Alabama. God is the only One who can guide us and keep us safe. That is what I have learned from this experience. Everyone else might fail. He never will. Focus on Him. Just say His name and He is there. It will change your entire outlook. You can do all things through Christ who strengths you. He did it for me. He will do it for you. Hang in there. It is always darkest before dawn.

Deborah Hudson If you knew my entire story you would see how God brought me from little bitty Panama City Fl to Emory. It is amazing how He brought me through each step. Basically I had to keep seeking and then following where He was leading me. I am doing well now. Thursday was 3 weeks ago I had surgery. I still get more tired than I like but I hear that cardiac rehab and walking takes care of that. About four days ago I woke up feeling wonderful, better than I have in forever. Then I walked way too much. It has taken me four days to get over walking so far. Wont over do again that is for sure. Energy is going back up. Took a shorter walk today. Back on track. Now I am starting to wonder if I will always be like this. Tired. Will my brain always be foggy? I know always is the wrong word. It is just for this season. I am blessed to be alive and celebrating Christmas with my family. I expect too much too soon. Any advice?

Deborah Hudson Am happy to report that the brain fog has lifted. I have been working on puzzles the last three days off and on. I would never have believed that even a week ago. I can focus. I am starting to read again too. Amazing how something can change so quickly from one day to the next. Thank you God.
