Hi Trisha, My thoughts and prayers are with you this week. Sounds like you’ve been expecting this for several years and it’s time to take the next step. I am sure you are in great hands at Cleveland Clinic.
My story is somewhat to yours. I had radiation therapy for Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1984 that damaged my heart valves. I’ve been monitored for a very long time and it’s time for me as well. My surgery is scheduled for September 12th at Mount Sinai in NYC. I am looking forward to having this journey behind me and I am sure you are as well. I will be thinking of you on Thursday!
