ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY .... feeling happy and grateful today. Last year at this time I had no way of knowing for sure how my open heart surgery would turn out. Now I am enjoying retirement, relishing grandparent-hood, back to cycling, doing yoga, learning to play pickleball and (tomorrow for 1st time) dragon boating ! (also kayaking and zip-trekking in Hawaii )
Thanks to ALL my supportive friends and family and especially one amazing hubby who took weeks off work and was there every step of the way, one fabulous daughter who came to the hospital every day, and one terrific son who came all the way from Saskatoon ... three times !
