J Alexander Lassally Also another insight for your son. They make the anesthesia "prep and hold" pleasant - so it is not scary. This is the first step after you will part on the first floor area. Where the first IV and arterial line is placed, as well as other prep.

I was actually quite okay at that point. They listen to you, so if nervous they will give you a little more relaxant. It is all about communication ...

Sandeep Sahay Dear Lyle, all the best for your son! I am also getting surgery done tomorrow by Dr Roselli. My first valve replacement was at age of 23. Since then until now my valve is still great but have developed aneurysm so I am getting all replaced. I got mechanical valve for the first time. All the best to you and your son

Pamela Gregory Dr. Roselli is awesome and your son is in excellent hands. He did my AVR last year. I was a complete disaster in the "prep and hold " area so they knocked me out!!! Very wise on their part
