At 9 weeks post aortic valve replacement, feeling better, I started cardiac rehab Monday. I have changed as a man after all this I now take time to enjoy things in life, I have slowed down and refused to have all the chaos around, I let a lot of things go that I would worry about. I also promised this baby girl I would spend a lot more time with her, and cuddles is what she wants everyday 😊 typical German shepherd she would not leave my side during my recovery at home.

I am looking at her picture on my mantle as i write this even after a year and a half and i still get a lump in my throat. They give so much and ask so little.
