About Me (In My Own Words)
I went for a physical exam with my GP October 2012. He referred me to a cardiologist as he found a problem with my heart beat. The cardiologist advised me I have bicuspid aortic valve and he monitored me over the next year and a half through echocardiograms. Each time my situation became worse, it started off in the moderate category and progressed to critical. He referred me to Dr. Cook who did a heart cath this past Wednesday. The results confirm I need a new valve. So now just waiting for the surgery.
