About Me (In My Own Words)
The day before Thanksgiving 2016 I was exercising and all of a sudden I just felt overwhelmed by tiredness. Went to the Annual Parade the next day and had to sit down during the Parade. Had a business trip the next week and chalked my symptoms up to probably coming down with some bug. Got to my distinction and could no longer walk a block without stopping to rest. Realized something was very wrong but wanted to get home before going to the hospital.
Once home, went to see my cardiologist who diagnosed affib. Started on meds and finally about 4 weeks later, got my symptoms under control. Scheduled a conversion and had a TEE. Then was told I needed surgery!
