Hi all! Has anyone else named their operation? We’ve dubbed mine Operation Savage because my family and I are determined to face this surgery and recovery fiercely and with a positive outlook. I’d love to hear what names you’ve given to this part of your journey!

No but that's a very creative idea and a good way to face this thing!

Louanna Miller Welcome to the community. We are here for you. I was diagnosed with MVP and had mild regurgitation for years, had Echocardiograms every 5 years. Then last May was sent for one sooner as my valve sounded more pronounced. Echocardiogram and TEE showed MVP with severe regurgitation and enlarged atrium. I was very symptomatic for some time, but just thought I was more tired and unmotivated to do more things. On August 20 I had OHS for MV repair at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago. Let us know any questions you may have.
