Donna and I just returned from Dr. Bailey's office. He agreed to be our local surgeon as needed for complications etc. Dr. Bailey said that if he were to send us to Birmingham, he would send us to Dr. Lewis. So, our surgical team is complete. Dr. Clifton Lewis from Structural Heart & Valve Center at Princeton Baptist located in Birmingham Alabama will be driving the bus. Dr. Bailey from Baptist Hospital in Pensacola Florida is back up driver. We are looking forward to handing the keys to Dr. Lewis and his surgical team. Next step is scheduling the surgery. Dr. Lewis and his assistant have been meeting with families today so it will not be until Thursday at the earliest that we hear from them. Hopefully, Donna and I can sit back and relax tomorrow knowing that we are closer than ever to making this thing happen.

We just confirmed Dr. Clifton Lewis from Structural Heart & Valve Center at Princeton Baptist located in Birmingham Alabama. Now waiting for a call from his office for scheduling. Dr. Lewis is the person we wanted. I just knew once I spoke with him, we would be convinced that he and his team are the right choice for us. Thank you, God, for providing once again.

Our Apt. with the local surgeon was postponed from today at 1 pm to tomorrow at 10 am. The apt. is to go over the results of the HR monitor I wore for 7 days and to talk about scheduling the apt. for surgery. Received an email from Gloria Gulledge, the Office Manager of Dr. Clifton Lewis, saying they received all my films this morning and to expect a call from Dr. Lewis sometime this week. Praying for a call very soon from Dr. Lewis.
