I know nothing about ROSS, but I was told my cardiologist that tissue valves have an average lifespan of 10-15 years whereas mechanical valves last longer. It is uncommon to have a second surgery if you get a mechanical valve (I'm guessing)

A team of Pediatric and Adult Cardiac Surgeon and cardiologists have jointly decided to wait for Hari to get him achieve his optimum growth.
Hari is not having any physical complaints except Easily getting fatigue.
His pressure gradient right now is somewhere around 120.
Team advised is to go for Aortic Valve Replacement on achieving adult heart size.
For that to buy sometime from increasing gradient, they advised us to go for balloon as gradient rise more.
So we postponed our surgery. We also choose AVR on ROSS considering Early Reoperation seem in ROSS. ROSS needs resurgery at around 5-8 yrs after Mechanical Valve needs to be changed at around 15 yrs.
Tammy Pilcher Prayers and best wishes for Hari! God bless y'all!
