I had my DVR(Mitral & Aortic) on 3rd August last year,followed by removal of pleural effusion on 21st August same year. Regained so well and my recovery was great till 6th of Feb 2018 when I had a mild ischemic stroke and my life became missarable again.This numbness in the right side was accompanied by dizziness that was later diagnosed as BPPV. The dizziness and numbness are very irritating to the mind with feelings that another stoke might repeat.Anyone with an idea probably to share and show me how you got out.Secondly, the scar also keeps pulling and tightening my chest, how long does it take to go away?

Marie Myers Regarding the stroke-have they checked your carotid arteries? Have they mentioned surgery? I hope the doc has your BP and cholesterol under control. Those two things, along with not smoking and staying active can help. Last, do they have you on any anticoagulants like aspirin or clopidigrel? That is a lot to deal with; I am sending healing thoughts your way
