Hi everyone.I had my surgery March 4th and all seems well. Slow steady progress. However, after 10 days I am still quite hoarse and have to speak in whispers. The doctors at the hospital told me to set an appointment with an ENT specialist which I'll do in the morning. Anyone else had this issue a week and a half after surgery? Thanks!

Herb Greenberg Hey, I had my surgery on March 4...a year ago. It's a great day for valve surgery. You will be fine. I actually had throat issues months down the road. The ENT and my regular doc said throat irritation from the tube is quite common. I wound up taking a few rounds of Prilosec and some Flonase every day. Cleared things up.

Hello all. I'm heading in to have my heart catheterization later this morning. This will bring me closer to my Valve replacement surgery, however I still don't have a firm date with Covid protocols needing to be followed for the scheduling of surgeries. Have a great day!
